Thank you for your interest in Peace Rose! Our enrollment period spans from early February through late spring. We begin re-enrollment for Peace Rose students in February and start inviting new families in early March. In order to be considered for enrollment you must have completed the admissions process detailed below. Families are welcome to tour and apply throughout the year— students are always able to join the waitlist, which rolls over year to year.
This is our admissions process:
*Tour our school! Tours of our campus are available the first Wednesday of each month in September, October, November, December, February, March, April, and May and during one of our Open House events.
Tours of Camellia, which houses our infant and toddler programs, are at 5:00pm. Camellia is located at 2157 Wrightsville Avenue.
Tours of Pine, which houses our pre-school and kindergarten programs, are at 5:00pm. Pine is located at 2173 Wrightsville Avenue.
Tours of Sunflower, which houses our elementary programs, are at 5:00pm. Sunflower is located at 2166 Dexter St.
Tours of Cypress, which houses our middle school program, are at 5:00pm. Cypress tours will meet at Sunflower and walk over.
We also have video tours available for families that are unable to make an in-person tour. If your family needs accommodations in order to make our tour accessible, please let us know by emailing admissions@peacerose.org. Our buildings are all wheelchair accessible.
* Submit an application. Families are invited to apply before touring or following a tour. The application is embedded in this page below. There is a $50 application fee that is non-refundable. Once your application is submitted and the fee is paid your family will be added to the waitlist and contacted. There is a wait list for most programs, please email admissions@peacerose.org for about timelines for specific programs. Applications roll from year to year and the application fee is a one-time expense.
* Check your email! Our primary form of communication during the enrollment process is through email. We receive many applications and the fastest way for us to move through this process is to notify parents by email that there is a spot available for their child. Once we have sent you an enrollment offer via email you have five business days to accept before we move on to the next person on the waiting list.
* Schedule an observation. During the enrollment season we invite families who are eligible for a spot in kindergarten, elementary, and secondary grades to observe in the classroom. This is an opportunity to see the class in action and for the teachers to get to know your child in the environment. These appointments are made once an application has been accepted and the student has moved to the top of the waiting list. Students Pre-K and younger are not required to do an observation day.
* Final paperwork and deposit. Welcome to Peace Rose! We will send you the enrollment agreement and deposit invoice. Once we have a paid deposit and a signed agreement your child’s spot is secure.
